thirtySomething Dance’s “Audacious and Mildly Unhinged” May 7, 2023

For 19 years, I’ve been a part of thirtySomething Dance here in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We’ve always been Audacious and Mildly Unhinged, but this year is different. After several seasons of limitations on gathering to rehearse and socialize, we are reminded of how good fierce and fearless feels.

This year’s show was a curated collection of what thirtySomething does best. We trust, we create, and we commit. With three newbies and the return of two former members, this 2023 cast is our most extensive and versatile yet.

As a collective, we pushed ourselves technically and creatively, bringing new levels of tSdc audacity and mild unhingedness to the studio. Enjoy, and if some of this makes no sense, that’s okay!
