My relationship with this family started 10 years ago when I photographed Ashley and Nathan’s wedding. Yup, 10 years, wow! Ashley’s mom, a proud grandma of the most amazing kind, keeps ringing me every few years to chronicle her growing gaggle of grandchildren. We kept our Covid fingers crossed from early spring until this past weekend when we could safely all get together once again. One week into the return to school and these kids were happy and chatty, as usual. Thank you Valerie, for letting me come play (with a mask on and distanced). Oh, and in case you can’t tell, that last shot is a “do the floss with grandma and grandpa” for the win!
