Selena & Andrew January 17, 2019
Many couples come to me saying they are having a small, intimate wedding, with only their closest family and friends. Selena and Andrew really meant it, and it took their little village with a guest count of less than 20 to pull off this wedding days before Christmas. With a dreary December forecast of heavy wind and rainfall warnings not to mention a five month old daughter the couple had their hands full.
But if I could feel it, I’m sure Selena, Andrew and daughter Isla could feel the care, love and excitement each guest brought to the day. The JP let me deliver the couple late to the ceremony so I could sneak in about seven minutes of not raining outdoor shots before heading inside. The Tap Room had been transformed by a hard-working groom and friends.
Isla was so well tended to by grandparents she never hit the purple cry stage, not even once. The couple had gifts and hand written notes for everyone, and after Isla was taken home to bed, Santa brought tequila shots! I feel so blessed when I’m asked to be part of weddings like this.
