Sarah & Brandon December 9, 2016
So I got the “Sunday drive” tour of Sackville during a sun kissed November wedding day. I’d not been to Uniacke Estate Museum Park before, and I am so glad Sarah and Brandon suggested it. A bit out of the way, but so charming. Sarah was a total trooper and braved 10 degree weather for well over an hour of shooting. I was so enamoured with the location, and the couple’s willingness to do pretty much anything I suggested, that I shot every minute the schedule allowed! Sarah’s dad was there by our sides, holding girls coats, sometimes even carrying my gear bag which i tend to walk away from when i’m in the zone. Back at the hall Aunt Bobbie and her crew captained by Brandon’s father, were turning the hall over from ceremony to reception. This wedding happened because Sarah and Brandon are dedicated to each other, and their family was committed to creating this wedding day for them. I know what it takes to pull of a (largely) DIY wedding, and this family did it in style.
