Rachel & Matthew | Oakfield Golf and Country October 8, 2016

As i write this, another storm is a brewin’ and I’m reminded how lucky Rachel and Matthew where a few weeks ago when tropical storm warnings shifted by a day and presented us with a warm, sunny luscious fall day. Oakfield Golf and Country Club is one of my new favourite venues and did not disappoint again this year. While it’s an active course on a late saturday afternoon, both the club’s guide that drove us around and kept us from getting golf balls to the head, and the players themselves were quite accommodating. One player actually went and hid behind some bushes as he noticed the shot I had lined up, instead of concentrating on his own. Another offered a little “nip” of liquid libation to the groomsmen. That’s some Nova Scotian golf course manners for you! Rachel and Matthew, you killed it on the links during all our various stops. The maturity of your relationship shows in how you are with each other. There is a fierceness in Rachel’s eyes when she knows Matthew is looking at her. Matthew, thanks for loaning me your groomsmen Peter during the photo shoot. Those who have shot with me know I usually ask the tallest groomsmen for a lighting assist trick on bright sunny days. Peter brought more than height, he made you and many others relax and laugh out loud on camera for me. Thanks Peter!
