Marcus & Lauren’s Terrance Bay Engagement Session July 28, 2017
Okay, y’all. This is my cousin’s daughter……..should i go goole what that makes me to her, besides way older! What a happy heart I had the day Lauren reached out to me from Ontario and asked me to do some engagement pictures in Terrance bay, where her mother grew up, and I have wonderful memories of. The first shot below, of the bay, is literally the front yard view from a home we all visited Nannie Hayter at, which is still in the family. Lauren gave me the Terrance Bay tour, and as we rounded the corner to the Lighthouse she said “so……do you think this is okay?”. “Meh” I said sarcastically, “I suppose it will do”. And how happy was i to see that blue school I remembered as a kid (and her mom went too) was still standing………barely! So enough about the location……..just look at the two of them. Ignoring the occasional raindrops, bugs, and not at all suitable for climbing ladies footwear, they were game for anything. And did I mention, to beat the rain, we rescheduled last minute and moved up the start time………so unexpectedly with my 5 year old twins in tow, climbing the cliffs while we shot, Lauren and Marcus were still able relax and remember why they were here. Family is everything.
