Love the name. I named my own girl Ruby-Adeline Maralyse, and about 5 days in my mother was calling her Ruby Jane. Darn it, I remember muttering under my breath, that’s her name!  May you have many days, Laura and Matt, where you can call Madelyn Jane with the sing song  “soft and lovely tone” it inspires instead of the one where the inflection and volume rises at by the time you get to the Jane part on the third or fouth time calling her. Ahhh, parenting.
