Lisa & Drew | Whitepoint Beach Resort Wedding June 25, 2016
Whitepoint Beach Resort weddings are growing on me. I feel like a true Nova Scotian while I’m there, and take pride in the experience our coastline creates for wedding couples and their guests. Lisa & Drew’s wedding day was a stunning blend of all things beautiful with a celebration grounded in family roots. The always stunning Chealsea Lee Flowers, mixed with an amazing palette of blush bridesmaids dresses. The men rocked stylish suits and Ray Ban’s. But its the little details that create an intimate east coast experience. Like musician Brad Reid playing “Rainbow Connection” during the ceremony by the water, the fog rolling in on cue during pictures, and Grandma Lee providing Antipasto wedding favours made by hand from ingredients in her garden. And then there’s Lisa & Drew. Composed, polished, in love and willing to risk the rocks, sand, and water to get to the locations I suggested. Thanks for hoofin it around and all over, I think it was worth it! Oh, and then there was that choreographed first dance they sprung on their guests. It included some boy band throwbacks, a little Beyonce, and Drew pulled off some breakdancing coffee grinders and an impressive stall. Lisa, girl you worked that dress and Drew put a ring on it!
