Kelly & Simon had great weather for their backyard wedding day, just outside Mahone Bay. But something tells me nothing would have stopped the celebration that occurred for the couple’s “i do’s”. The details had an oceanside starfish theme, and their family and friends efforts and spirit made this rural Nova Scotian wedding memorable. The bride told her guests she “just wanted to press pause” so that they could take in all the love they were feeling that day. Kelly’s womenfolk kept asking me if i’d had enough to eat, someone rubbed homemade bug spray on my legs while my hands were full of camera gear, and all of Simon’s groomsmen were at least as tall as me. Good time had by all, i think!
