Meet Kelly and Adam. The playlist they gave their True North DJ for the ceremony included “Here Comes the Sun”, “How Sweet it Is”, and “Your My Best Friend”. Their choice in music telegraphed the tone they chose to set for their wedding day celebrations at the Delta Halifax Hotel: romantic, relaxed and full of crafted moments of joy for their guests. Even though it threatened to rain all day, a groomsman carted around my huge umbrella stash, no one complained or even worried aloud. The toasts made me almost cry from laughing, and the dance floor was packed on the first song “Honey I’m Good”. Great choice Mr DJ, sums up this couple perfectly.
