Karen & Paul | Domaine De Grand Pre Winery Wedding August 16, 2014

Oh Baby 🙂 Karen and Paul have known each other 10 years. There is an ease about how are with each other, and the relaxed, intimate wedding day they created for their guests and themselves speaks to a confidence in how they feel about their families and their relationship. Renting out the Old Lantern Inn, next to the Grand Pre Winery in Wolfville, and filling both with their closest friends resulted in an amazing celebration. It’s a challenge and an honour to try and disappear into small weddings like this. The mother of the groom wrangled two children under the age of 3 down the isle, the toasts were tearful and incriminating at the same time, and the dance floor was cleared for a killer first dance by Karen and her father. I know a little about dancing, the technique was invisible, flawless, and the ease and funk of dancing with daddy for years shone through. Baby’s gonna have rhythm!
