Jasmine & Matthew’s Backyard Wedding Celebration September 2, 2020

As one of the few weddings for me that went ahead on the actual date it was intended this year, Jasmine and Matthew gathered their closest family and friends in two different back yards, said I do, ate some great food and embraced the “new normal” of weddings this season. Lawns were manicured, arbours built and pop-up tents secured. The couple landscaped and put in retaining wall themselves in preparation of hosting the event at their new home. Jasmine made her own wedding cake the night before! It’s so great to see couples reinventing the wheel this year, and embracing both the challenges and rewards that come with those efforts. Now that’s a house warming party!
