Wedding season has finally arrived here in Halifax! We had barely any leaves on the trees, rain, and a Bluenose Marathon to contend with, but Janet and Matt had a great celebration filled with lots of belly laughs. love and a sometimes unhappy toddler. The couple’s daughter, Laina, made it down the isle with “help” from Nannie, and then she was whisked away for bedtime so everyone could have a grown up party. The Brewery Market in Halifax (where the couple met), and the Wooden Monkey in Dartmouth kept us dry and in good spirits that day, but I’m very glad I brought my umbrella stash and the two were willing to go play in the rain. Yo Matt, sweet kicks. I tried to sound hip just there, but i’m not sure it worked.
