Heidi & Colin | Shining Waters Marine Wedding September 3, 2016

Where to begin. Heidi and Colin threw a beautifully detailed, charming, and welcoming wedding at Shining Waters Marina here in Nova Scotia. All the pretty things were pretty, the outdoor ceremony fairy tale details magical, and everyone looked fantastic. But the story inside this day for me has to do with the fact that family and friends mattered more than all of the “stuff” of a wedding to Heidi and Colin, and everyone felt it. How do i know? That feeling came back to our bride and groom in the amazing stories and toasts that had even me laughing out loud, and holding back tears. Weddings are the shiny day against which your not so shiny days will get measured. It is clear to me your friends and family are happy to be there for all the less shiny days with you. But maybe give your dad a couple days off, Heidi, from reno work!
