Heather & Jared August 29, 2015
Heather and Jared met at the Shore Club in Hubbards, Nova Scotia. So they decided to do their first look there to kick of their wedding day celebrations. It was super-hot, and Heather was super brave about it, never complaining, and more importantly staying calm when her amazing locally sourced wildflowers attracted locally sourced wild insects who sting! The couple, and their families, worked to create an relaxed and romantic backyard wedding. The nuptials had some scene stealers: a ring bearer who ate a reward freezie and a flower girl who climbed “the” tree during the ceremony. Catered by Edible Matters, everyone thought the food was great, but was quickly outshone by a home maid s’mores bar that came out after dark. Local band, Late Nite Lover kicked off Heather and Jared’s first dance, and then filled the DIY plywood dance floor Jared and his brother built. It was a charming evening with one of the most laid back couples I’ve had.
