Eastcoast Summer “Vacation” Photoshoot August 28, 2018

I put quotes around the word vacation, 5 days in a beachfront cottage with 6 year old twins felt like alot of work. So, what happens when a professional photographer tries to photograph her own kids while on vacation. About 7 minutes of sort of cooperation with them pretending to Yoshi (and i have no idea of Ruby’s inspiration anymore). AFter two rounds of red light green light dangerously close to the call of the waves I gave up and let them head on in, in their fancy clothes, bowties, and cute hats that got mangled under a pile of stuff in the van. Sometimes you just have to surrender, and get in there and get full of sand and water yourself. Later that during round three of going swimming (and drying off, and dealing with sand, and reapplying sunscreen) I grabbed a few more shots with them in expected swim gear. I kind of like the bowtie in the ocean better. Also, I cannot WAIT for school to start next week! How many more sleeps?
