Her in-laws call the bride “button”…. as in cute as a button. The groom and his posse wore batman cuff links. The groom’s grandfather helped officiate the wedding and their family and friends celebrated over chicken and ribs at Brightwood Golf Course. Amanda and David also had my husband and I help them with their first dance, which resulted in a huge cheer from the crowd by the time they got to the dip and a big (improvised) smooch. Once the dance floor opened, the groomsmen got busy, getting down to the jams of Sir Mix Alot. Maybe the soundtrack for Amanda & David’s day should have been “Button’s Got Back”
