Amanda & Justin | White point Beach Resort East Coast Wedding August 13, 2019

No one was expecting “feels like 40 degrees” for Amanda and Justin’s big day, but their friends gathered round and embraced the stunning seaside location. Family followed me into a patch of shade for photos, and the wedding party cracked some champagne in an oceanfront cottage to celebrate and hydrate.
The couple and their entourage snuck out after some very emotional toasts and before first dances, close to sunset as the beach turned magical. I love long Nova Scotia nights and this one was punctuated with a very unwilling participant catching the bouquet.
Amanda’s grandmother was seated at a table and ended up catching her grand-daughters flowers after the bouquet sailed past the row of eager and waiting single ladies. Unexpected moments are what make a wedding day full of fun and adventure, and unplanned memories.
