Alexandra & Jerrad | Lot Six Downtown Halifax Wedding October 16, 2019

I cannot explain to you how happy it made my heart to capture the father of the bride doing what I call “ride the pony” on the dance floor of his daughters wedding. I’m not sure which song was playing, but it would not surprise me if it was Earth, Wind and Fire’s “September” since Alexandra and Jerrad tied the knot a few weeks ago on the twenty-first night of September.
The whole day was full of “it takes a village” lovely moments as the two families combined to celebrate at downtown Halifax’s Lot Six. With attention to the details that mattered, and the logistics thought through ahead of time, these two created space within the usual wedding day chaos to let joy flow through and out onto the dance floor!
