Year 21. It is hard to believe a little experiment we started 21 years ago, called thirtySomething Dance continues to thrive and making space for joy. This year’s “Category Is” theme is borrowed from the art of drag, queer ballroom culture, and walking the runway while living in your truth.

Binge watching RuPaul’s Drag Race, the creativity, passion, and tenacious use of glitter and a glue gun to make your vision come to life, helped many of through the pandemic. Ru bestows gems of wisdom like “it is your life’s work to shine” to artists right when they need to hear it most.
